]]> Architecture studio WOJR designed ‘Twins’, a site located in Upstate New York that consists of two geometric buildings facing each other. Created for two brothers, the two houses feature different shapes, a hexagon and a four-sided polygon, yet both are built from the same five structural components. Additionally, the homes are linked to each other through an underground piping system for water supply. On the concept behind the structure, the studio says: “The agricultural development of the land between the two houses separates them visually (to varying degrees depending on season) while linking them inextricably, both infrastructurally and communally.”

]]> Graphic designer Akira Oozawa takes heartwarming images of his twin daughters. The girls look like they’re having so much fun posing for the camera, exploring their surroundings and doing whatever children do when discovering the world.
Next to his pre-school twins, Akira Oozawa has also a fifth-grader daughter and third-grader son. And even though the twins look alike, their character is very different. He states: “The older one is cautious and dependent, and the younger one is short-tempered, selfish and breaks everything that comes in her way. And while they show no signs of ‘twin telepathy’, they do cooperate in things. And by ‘things’ I mean ‘fighting their brother’.” Follow his Instagram for more.

She feels most comfortable shooting her girlfriends while exploring femininity and everything that comes with it. Her subjects are wearing flying skirts or tempting underwear, behaving in these inscrutable ways that have always been and will ever be equally mysterious and attractive to the opposite sex.

The Spanish-based photographer is actually studying to become a Building Engineer though shooting photos is her real passion that she constantly develops. You can also find her on Flickr and Instagram.

]]> French photographer Olivier Ramonteu created the eerie and intriguing series ‘Alter Ego’ capturing the ghostly images of twins. As a viewer, we aren’t sure if we are actually looking at a cleverly combined multiple exposure or an actual twin couple. Well both is true as some of his subjects are really identical twins while others are just imagined. Ramonteu leaves it to the viewer to decide which couples are real and which are just cleverly manufactured doubles of one person. His aim is to raise questions about our perception and the things we believe are real.

]]> After releasing her series Cosmic Surgery last year, photographer Alma Haser is now back with her series ‘Twins’ that is actually just the first of two parts, the second will be coming in November.

The series features two girls who mirror each others every move, trying to become one. Alma Haser states: “I have always been fascinated by twins and their closeness in looks and attributes. Jess and Mona are of course not twins, and didn’t even know each other before the shoot, but they now call each other Afro sisters.”
