After releasing her series Cosmic Surgery last year, photographer Alma Haser is now back with her series ‘Twins’ that is actually just the first of two parts, the second will be coming in November.

The series features two girls who mirror each others every move, trying to become one. Alma Haser states: “I have always been fascinated by twins and their closeness in looks and attributes. Jess and Mona are of course not twins, and didn’t even know each other before the shoot, but they now call each other Afro sisters.”

Landline By Aakash Nihalani

Aakash Nihalani created ‘Landline’ as a series of performative installations. Colorful bars pass through individuals, connecting them to each other and functioning as extensions of the urban landscape.

The participants examine their own insides and connections, a visual expression of both the isolation and community that Nihalani often feels living in Brooklyn. He states: “We spend so much time existing in virtual reality, these works are a visible connection to the real world.”

Manipulated Landscapes by Witchoria

Artist Victoria Siemer aka Witchoria transforms landscapes by adding an element of the geometric into natural surroundings. Witchoria uses mainly grim, downcast and gloomy environments that evoke a moody, nostalgic feeling.
The result is a peaceful yet distorted picture that reminded us of the series Landscape Monolith that we featured a while ago.
