Juan Stockenstroom/Sea Point Days

Sea Point Days, is a photographic project by Cape Town based Photographer / visual artist Juan Stockenstroom. The image series captures his neighbourhood – “Sea Point” during the peak summer season in Cape Town, South Africa. Sea Point is populated suburb, situated on the Atlantic Ocean coast, in Cape Town where international holiday makers flock to avoid the Northern Hemisphere winter or locals go to enjoy large communal pools during the hot months in South Africa. The series was captured by Stockenstroom during a stroll with his camera down the Atlantic boarder stretch known as the “Promenade”.
