BoConcept celebrates 65 years of Danish design with its new Adelaide collection for the lounge. Comprising a lounge sofa, arm chairs and a coffee table, the new range encapsulates the best of Scandinavian design in its timeless design. To mark the anniversary, we concepted an editorial for the classic furniture label, shot by Berlin-based photographer, Tobias Faisst. Taking centre stage is the color blue, one of the several tones in which Adelaide’s seating designs are offered. The organic yet refined forms of the pieces in the Adelaide collection are customisable. In the words of designer Henrik Pedersen, “all pieces can be individualized, allowing everyone to have their very own custom piece of furniture.” This editorial focuses on the way we’d customize the Adelaide range. Inspired by the depth of its subdued, royal blue tone, the images we captured offer a tribute to deeply comforting color and the surprising warmth of its myriad shades.
