iGNANT is an award-winning online magazine featuring the finest in photography, design, art, architecture, fashion and travel. We are passionate about sharing a curated selection of the most captivating work from both established creatives as well as emerging talents.

In addition to publishing inspiring projects from around the world, iGNANT Production produces its own unique photo and video content. But we are much more than simply filmmakers and photographers: At iGNANT Production we offer a holistic creative package comprised of consultation, design and content. Our projects aim to not only reinvent what is within boundaries, but to move beyond them. This full service approach provides the client with all necessary elements from beginning to end: taking them from conception, to consulting and production — guaranteeing ease of communication and ensuring a coherent final product.

We are currently looking for a Sales Manager to join our Berlin office. The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about growing the iGNANT brand and developing our network of business partners. They should understand the brand, find partners to match it, pitch them and develop these relationships with strategic and innovative planning.

Responsibilities:
● Develop and take ownership for iGNANT Production’s new business strategy
● Seek and break new accounts and clients, combining your experience and connections with iGNANT’s brand strategy
● Ensure quarterly and annual revenue goals are met
● Brief iGNANT’s creative team on projects, and pitch creative strategies for marketing to clients
● Develop knowledge of the market climate to identify opportunities
● Monitor existing relationships to ensure contract renewals and to secure lasting brand partnerships

Qualifications:
● 2+ years of proven professional sales, marketing and new business experience — ideally in a related field
● Interest in iGNANT’s content is mandatory
● Professional level in both German and English, oral and written language skills are required
● Excellent presentation skills and attention to detail
● A proactive, enthusiastic and strategic approach to work
● Experience in negotiation with high-ranking senior professionals
● Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and with ease
● Enjoyment of both the difficulties and rewards of a multi-disciplinary, creative solution sale

Heng Lamps By Zanwen Li

HENG is a series of lamps by Guangdong-based designer Zanwen Li, whose design lies in its brilliant element of interaction that controls the lamp’s light. Two floating balls in the wooden frames are used as control buttons to switch the light on and off. The orbs are magnetically attracted to each other and suspended by a string. When the lower orb enters the magnetic field of the upper one, the lamp switches on. By releasing the lower orb, the lamp goes off. The lamps are breaking the traditional way to turn on light and bring joy to our monotonous life.

Jae Hyo Lee’s Wood Sculptures

Working with wood and metal, Korean artist Jae Hyo Lee creates pristine formed and intricate sculptures. Lee designs functional furniture and artistic sculptures, benches, stools, and tables figured of abstract and biomorphic forms. Each piece crafted by Jae Hyo Lee is composed of an engaging shape and has an inherently domestic purpose at the same time. The artist plays with the boundaries between modern art and design while demonstrating a solid respect for raw materials and an innovative approach for displaying their characteristics. Revealing a subtly humorous and unsentimental attitude to nature Lee believes that the beauty of art is a product of the labor from where it comes from.

Living In A Fishbowl By Photographer Dana Trippe

San Diego-based photographer Dana Trippe captured a provocative self-portrait series using a fishbowl to skew her reflection. In statement on c-heads magazine, the 20-year-old says: “A photo is always more appealing to me when it’s put through a distorted or unrealistic perspective. Sometimes it seems appropriate to shoot a moment in time exactly how it is in real life but I seem to be more happy when I’m pushing myself to experiment while shooting… The fishbowl has been my favorite effect so far. I’m no model, but when you´re shooting self portraits there’s no one else to worry about or please but yourself. You can take your sweet time and get as weird as you need to be.”

CanopyStair Is A Versatile Tree Staircase

Designers Thor ter Kulve and Robert McIntyre revealed a spiral staircase that can be installed on a tree trunk without using any tools or harming it. This innovative staircase is made out of birch steps that hold on to the tree trunk with straps. It is set up by attaching a series steps along with an accompanying handrail. Kulve and McIntyre came up with the idea for the CanopyStair while spending time on an island in the Portuguese Azores archipelago. The house they stayed at was surrounded by a high wall blocking the property’s sea views so they had to climb up a tree to get a better view.
