Berlin-based eyewear label MYKITA revealed a new range of digitally tailored eyewear. ‘My Very Own’ uses three digital technologies: 3D scanning, parametric design and additive manufacturing to create glasses where design and fit are tailored to the each individual face shape. MVO now leads existing research to a new level from serially manufactured to digitally bespoke eyewear.
Featuring its own collection of sunglasses and prescription frames, ‘My Very Own’ will be introduced to MYKITA Shops and selected opticians in spring 2016.
