A Floating Island Home 24 Years In The Making

Moored off the coast of Canada’s Vancouver Island, 45 minutes by boat to the closest town, is a colorful floating house complex named ‘Freedom Cove’.
Built by the artists Catherine King and Wayne Adams over the past 24 years, the incredible complex consists of 12 sections including greenhouses, a workshop, an art gallery, lighthouse and dance floor, in addition to regular living spaces. Constructed without the use of power tools, the structure weighs around a million pounds. Visit it virtually in the video below.
