The work of the Swiss based sculptor and digital creative Fabian Bürgy deals with manipulation. His diverse and playful artistic practice, which is a mix between sculpture, installation and digital imaging, explores the aesthetic of things through random encounters of objects, materials and misplaced situations.
+ Read MoreBürgy creates conceptual interventions which are inspired by a wide range of mundane objects – from holes, clouds and skid row textures to suicide belts and even dog tails, all subjected to what could be described as his slightly violent and disturbing process of transformation, misplacement and dysfunction of things. He takes specific thoughts and develops conflicts with precise and minimalistic means – an oeuvre, which constantly explores the point where known things become something else, where metamorphosis is reached or a particular condition is repealed.
